The Danbury Fire Department Acquired this R9 Refueler and Spent Several Months Converting it to a Tanker. The Truck was given to the department free as long as it was used for a fire truck. The R9 Refueler is a 1983 Mack Truck with a 3208 Cat and Allison Automatic Transmission. It has a 5000 Gallon Tank and a 650 GPM Single Stage Pump. Check back for additional Pictures.
